My Dearest Son ~ Garion,
In 4 days you would have turned 15... a milestone to say the least. Would you have gotten your drivers permit next week? Possibly! Would we be having a birthday party for you this weekend? Definitely! Instead we will spend the day as a family, the 5 of us ~ because I will always carry you in my heart.
You would be so proud of your sister & brother. Rylon looks and acts more like you every day. He is so sweet! I only wish he took up a love for reading like you had, but he makes up for it in other ways. As for Calyn, she has your passion for books! The boys are starting to notice her ~ I am sure you are having a field day with that. Know that Daddy throws his fits about it too! But can you blame them? She is beautiful! Daddy continues to work hard for our family. He misses you dearly and if you can hear us, you hear us say your name quit often. We love to talk about you! Overall, we just do what we need to do to make this journey as easy as possible for our family. As for me, I've come a long way. I have slowly been able to find happiness & joy in my life again. There is and will always be a missing piece in my life ~ but I know you would want me to continue and be happy with Daddy. You must already know what God has planned for me... I can only guess it has something to do with patience (to see, hold, touch & hear you again) & strength (to continue on). I take my life one day at a time... some days are easier than others, but I manage. I love and miss you so much Garion! And one day I hope to be able to wake up with peace and understanding, but I doubt it... at least not until I am in heaven and am able to find my answers. But for now, I must take care of your sister, brother, and daddy. I know you are well taken care of.
